God controls world leaders.
God is still sovereign over all the kingdoms of the earth, no matter which human leader is in charge.  He sets up the lowliest & baddest of men for his own purpose. Focus on God; not all the evil around you.  God is supreme leader of all mankind.  He has no equal even though Satan tries to deceive humans into believing that we can chose between good and evil.  If God’s people believe they are better then God himself, God turns His back on them and allows foreign leaders to conquer Israel (His people).  If Israel follows God by believing in Him and doing His Commandants, then He protects them from foreign influences.  He also blesses them buy giving them rain in due season, producing crops and livestock.

 
People wonder why God allows this.
 

God controls world leaders and puts bad rulers in power to be used to punish His people when they go astray.    People in positions of wealth and power seem to abuse their subjects.  This is done to weed out and try people to see if they are chaff or wheat.  Everyone has free will.  If you chose wrong, God needs a way to punish you.  If you choose right, then God needs to set you up as a light in a dark world for an example the world needs to see.  There are cause and effects.  If people obey God then they are protected, disobeying God causes their protection to be breached and world rulers to recognize that they are now venerable, and they will attack with vengeance.

 
God is Powerful.
 

People believe there is a powerful God but they really don’t take him seriously.  People think that they can ignore God’s decrees, follow man and live a good life.   We are not placed on this earth to just to live a good life.  We must be tried and tested to build character.  If you pass, you get God’s protection.  If you fail, you get God’s wrath by having enemies overtake and control us.  This has happened through all of the ages, and it continues to happen in this current time.  If we understand history, we will understand why God allows evil people to rule and punish.  In the end God wins and people are tried by fire and ones who follow God, get purified, the ones who fail, get burnt up.  Don’t get burnt up, get purified and you will reign with God for eternity.
